Hinged on SDG 4.7, “learners acquire knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development, including among others through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship, and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture’s contribution to sustainable development”, we work in the formal and non-formal educational systems to support individuals, schools and communities allows every human being to acquire the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values necessary to take action for environmental responsiveness and social development.
We engage young learners in schools through our Formal ESD programmes.
Our Non-formal ESD programmes target people outside school – communities, associations and the informal sector of the economy.
